Lev Mavashev joined Besen & Associates in January 2009 as a Senior Associate in the Investment-Sales Group, specializing in commercial and multi-family investment properties. In addition to being a highly dedicated and pro-active broker, Lev is also a landlord, which allows him to bring a uniques prospective to the table when brokering deals. Over the years, he was very instrumental in helping the firm penetrate the Brooklyn market. Prior to joining Besen & Associates, he was an Investment Associate at GFI Capital.

 

Lev began his career in Real Estate as a CPA with Deloitte & Touché LLP, providing financial analysis, consulting, and due diligence services to some of the world’s most prominent real estate companies. His clients included Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, Tishman Speyer, and Morgan Stanley Real Estate Funds.


Lev is highly dedicated to serving his clients and building long lasting relationships. He thrives on challenges and always brings a “win-win” attitude to every deal. He is a valued member of an elite group within Besen & Associate who have recently completed over $350 million in investment sales transactions, mainly in Brooklyn and the Bronx.


Lev is a graduate of Baruch College, Zicklin School of Business, where he received a BBA in Accounting & Economics, Magna Cum Laude Honors.
