Jack A. Cohen

Jack A. Cohen joined Besen & Associates in February 2011. His business experience includes owning and operating retail electronics specialty stores and home furnishings department stores for over 33 years, starting in downtown Brooklyn’s Fulton Mall. His family had owned several retail stores on Fulton Street which led to Jack’s interest in the retail industry. Growing up, he began working at one of his family’s store for about a year before he took over and managed it on his own. Since Jack began at Besen he has quickly sold multifamily and mixed use properties in Harlem and South Brooklyn, and has also leased prime retail properties.

Jack is a Berklee School of music alumnus and continues to pursue his musical efforts performing with his jazz trio and teaching jazz guitar.
