David Bess

David Bess joined Besen in early 2012 after spending several years as a commercial and residential broker at Halstead Property. In this time he has formed deep bonds with major real estate players in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Bronx, and beyond. David displays excellent understanding of multi-family, mixed-use, development, hotel, office, retail, and net leased properties, as well as a thorough understanding of distressed debt transactions.

Prior to launching his career in real estate, David spent nearly 15 years working for Fortune 500 companies such as JP Morgan Chase and The Hearst Group as an information technology specialist, before launching several successful dot com ventures that were later acquired in lucrative deals.

From his many years in sales, and having built several successful businesses, David knows that developing personal and business relationships is of utmost importance, as well as valuing people's time and providing them with a good product and added value.
