Description: Seeking a salesperson to connect active NYC sellers and buyers interested in investment type properties, such as apartment buildings, retail/office buildings & development sites, while continuously developing client relationships and negotiating transactions. The sales manager provides a training program which covers policies & procedures and also provides guidance throughout the learning process.
The position requires a College Degree and Real Estate Salesperson License and is 100% commission based with unlimited opportunity to succeed. The candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills as there is constant client interaction via telephone and also in person. In addition, ability to research property details while analyzing and determining valuation are necessary skill sets as well as organization and creativity. BESEN RETAIL - Retail Leasing Associate
Candidate should have a strong interest in pursuing a career in real estate. The position is a good introduction to the real estate industry specifically retail/store leasing. You will be working for one of the more successful and fast-growing brokerage firms in Manhattan.
The job responsibilities include showing retail space to potential tenants, putting up signs in store windows, making phone calls and sending mailings to landlords and potential tenants, preparing information sheets on available retail space, researching space and potential tenants. It also involves phone canvassing to mine leads for listings of vacant stores for lease.
The job will require someone who is a self-starter and unafraid to canvass, and also resourceful and computer-savvy to research information on the Internet. The candidate should be working on a college degree or have completed their college degree. Attention to detail is very important as well. We are looking for someone highly motivated who wants to learn the real estate business and is ready to hit the ground running.
